Ushodaya Supermarket – Vayupuri, Hyderabad
Ushodaya, a fast growing supermarket chain, wanted to create an elegant and impactful shopping experience. Towards this end, we have studied their existing stores and proposed a radically different approach to design that would not only enhance the shopping experience of the users but also encourages customers to back to the experience of the interior space.

We have worked closely with retail consultants, owners, lighting designers and other design professionals to comprehensively understand the psychology that goes into making great retail spaces and more importantly supermarkets.

Special attention has been given to the study of alignment, customer and goods movement, use of color and light, and feature interior design elements. Large stretch lights above the sale counters, rich use of colors and branding signage, efficient alignment of racks, end to end visibility and a sense of openness and transparency are the hallmarks of this project.
